Parkour takes over Sacile: URBANLeap’s international contest lights up Xtreme Days Festival 2026

SACILE, ITALY — Over the weekend of 30–31 May 2026, the historic centre of Sacile (Pordenone) turned into a parkour arena as the URBANLeap project staged the second of its three international parkour events, within Xtreme Days Festival 2026 — the largest Italian festival of urban and freestyle sports, held entirely in an urban setting. The contest was organised by the Italian partner ASD KRAP.

A total of 46 athletes competed across two formats. The national final of the PK Challenge on Tour brought together 27 young athletes in 9 teams of three, across three age categories (8–10, 11–13 and 14–16 years), while the Parkour Skills Competition gathered 19 athletes, including several international competitors. Beyond the contests, open parkour jams and beginner workshops for children brought direct participation to roughly 150 people, performing in front of several hundred spectators — within the festival’s audience of some 30,000 visitors.

Run as an official qualification stage for the Parkour Earth World Championship (Brno, October 2026), the Skills Competition delivered high-level performances. The men’s podium was won by Giorgio Bartolucci, ahead of Caryl Cordt-Moller and Kryštof Kolíbal; in the women’s competition, Katerina Krcmarova took first place, followed by Agnese Franchini and Elisa Piazzi. In the PK Challenge on Tour, the national titles went to Baboon Apple (8–10), KRAP_1 (11–13) and Ibecchi Team (14–16).

The event also served to present the project’s flagship result — the Parkour Trainer Handbook — to top international athletes and coaches, among them FIG World and European Champion Caryl Cordt-Moller, reinforcing URBANLeap’s goal of raising the quality and safety of parkour coaching across Europe.
