Urban Leap Balkan Tournament 2026 — a parkour spectacle in Sofia closes the URBANLeap event series

U nedjelju, 20. rujna 2026., u sofijskom North Parku održan je Urban Leap Balkan Tournament 2026 — treći i završni sportski događaj u sklopu Erasmus+ projekta URBANLeap. Turnir je organizirao bugarski partner Street Workout Bulgaria (SWB) uz podršku Bugarskog gimnastičkog saveza i po pravilima Međunarodne gimnastičke federacije (FIG), a bio je dio programa „Urban Zone", inicijative „Sofija — Europska prijestolnica sporta".

Prema službenoj startnoj listi nastupilo je 25 natjecatelja u kategorijama Men U17, Men 17+ i Women, dok su delegacije i nacionalne zastave iz pet zemalja — Bugarske, Hrvatske, Grčke, Italije i Slovenije — dale turniru istinski međunarodni, balkanski karakter. Najbolji su nagrađeni medaljama, a ukupni pobjednici peharom „Urban Leap Balkan Tournament Champion 2026".

Događaj je odjeknuo i u bugarskim medijima (BNT, sportal.bg, gong.bg, temasport.com, taralej.bg), a projektni URBANLeap roll-up s amblemom „Co-funded by the European Union" bio je u središtu natjecateljskog prostora.

Ovim turnirom URBANLeap je zaokružio seriju od tri događaja u tri zemlje — nakon Nedelišća (ožujak) i Sacilea (svibanj). Zahvaljujemo domaćinima iz SWB-a na sjajnoj organizaciji i gostoprimstvu!

On Sunday, 20 September 2026, Sofia’s North Park hosted the Urban Leap Balkan Tournament 2026 — the third and final sport event of the Erasmus+ project URBANLeap. The tournament was organised by the Bulgarian partner Street Workout Bulgaria (SWB) with the support of the Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation and under FIG parkour regulations, as part of ‘Urban Zone’, an initiative of ‘Sofia — European Capital of Sport’.

According to the official start list, 25 athletes competed across the Men U17, Men 17+ and Women categories, while delegations and national flags from five countries — Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Italy and Slovenia — gave the tournament a truly international, Balkan-wide character. The best athletes received medals, and the overall winners were crowned with the ‘Urban Leap Balkan Tournament Champion 2026’ trophy.

The event was widely covered by the Bulgarian media (BNT, sportal.bg, gong.bg, temasport.com, taralej.bg), and the URBANLeap roll-up banner with the ‘Co-funded by the European Union’ emblem stood at the heart of the competition area.

With this tournament, URBANLeap completed its series of three events across three countries — after Nedelišće (March) and Sacile (May). Our warm thanks to the SWB hosts for the excellent organisation and hospitality!
